AEM Components recently introduced the new AEC-Q200 qualified SMD fuses specifically designed for use in vehicles. The new AirMatrix (QA series) and SolidMatrix (QF series) fuses offer high mechanical and thermal stability from -55 ° C to 150 ° C.

Fulfillment of automotive standards
Automotive technicians must qualify their equipment for the AEC-Q200 automotive standard. As the reliability test has shown, new structures used by the SolidMatrix multilayer ceramic chip fuse and AirMatrix wire-in-air fuse offer significant advantages over typical fuse solutions. These fuses are manufactured in a TS16949 certified facility and are specifically designed for reliable operation in heavy-duty automotive applications.
